A few years after I discovered Psychedelic Rock, and a couple of years before I discovered Shoegaze, I went through a brief period largely devoted to creating Noise Music.

Armed with two guitars and five effect pedals, I recorded hours of spontaneous improvs and loops between October 1988 and March 1990. I only had an old stereo tape deck and one microphone, so my recordings were very lo-fi.

"guitar noise 1988-1990" is a collection of tracks taken from those recordings. The tracks with capitalized titles were originally released on a series of cassette albums; the others have never been heard before.
